Briefly, the background is as follows: the Cyberhippies group was founded by Alkemie21 on Deviantart in the spring of 2012 to find like-minded people who live by the ideals of hippies and create art — traditional, digital, handmade, photography, etc.
Here is a screenshot from June 2013. As you can see, the group was small but growing.

Yet, one not-so-sunny morning in 2015 or 2016 (?) came when we waved goodbye to :deviantart: (see the comment below this post to learn the reason why). We continued to create art but posted it somewhere else.
In June 2023 we have re-founded the group. The old address was free, so we decided to start over! The group is managed by the same people as before, only now the admins have separate accounts, i.e. cyberhippie-art and AstraNaz.
Cyberhippies group is open for submissions and fave suggestions. We are committed to keep this group alive and active.
Peace, love, and art to all!

Cyberhippie [definition]: "In terms of subcultural formations in cyberspace, perhaps the most interesting cameos are the 'New Age Cyber-Hippie' and 'Cyber-Punk Provo-Geek Techno-Luddite'. The first states, with an utopian refrain, that 'the Net is the nervous system of heaven' [...]." ~ The Cybercultures Reader.
Peace & love,
